Becoming Nutritarian – Week 1

If you’ve just started reading this article, you’re probably wondering what the heck Becoming Nutritarian is about. Well in this first week of this incredible journey I will try to explain everything I know about being a Vegan. But I will only touch on the topic of diet.

Becoming Nutritarian Week 1 Hello Nutritarian

There are many different diets that one could follow. For example, for some people becoming a Vegan means no longer eating meat at all. For others it’s a gradual process. And then there are those who hate animal products and would rather become Vegetarians. There are even other people who feel like their diet is not complete until they exclude eggs, dairy products, fish and other such animal derived foods.

Whatever your beliefs are you can be sure that Becoming Nutritarian is going to change your life. It is going to change your whole life. This is because every single morning you will have to decide whether or not you’re going to eat a meal or eat a few nuts. And in this month I am going to provide you with information that will prove to you that being a Vegan can also be great for your health!

The biggest issue with Becoming Vegan is the transition period. Some people prepare too much for their transition. They eat way more than they should, which can cause many different problems. This month I will give you a simple trick that has helped me immensely when it comes to preparing for my vegetarian diet.

First of all, in order to stay healthy you must learn how to eat vegetables. Eating vegetables is essential if you want to become a Vegan. You must avoid processed foods in any form. In this article I’m going to share with you one of my favorite things to eat as part of my vegan routine. I call it peanut butter.

One of the worst things that you can do when it comes to eating a vegan diet is to eat processed foods. For instance, I used to snack on potato chips all the time. When I was initially trying to go a little healthier I gave up potato chips. One day while I was cleaning up in my kitchen I came across some vegan peanut butter cookies. I knew right then and there that I had to make some changes. So, over the last few months I’ve been eating peanut butter cookies instead of potato chips.

One of the reasons why nuts are so important is because there is an incredible amount of calories in just one ounce of almonds. Nuts are packed full of antioxidants, which makes them extremely healthy. Not only that but nuts are also high in Omega-3 fatty acids, which is essential for healthy blood stream. If you add some nuts to your daily routine it can improve your health immensely. I would suggest getting at least four to five different nuts each week.

I used to avoid cooking with soy when I was a vegetarian but as I became more aware of the problems that soy poses to the body I began to cook with it more. At first I cooked eggs, bacon and sausage but I have since added vegetables, tofu, lentils and chickpeas to my menu. My goal for the coming weeks is to become a vegan chef! That sounds like a lot but I plan on making a few recipes each week that include vegetables, tofu, lentils and chickpeas. As long as I keep my nutrition balanced I should be able to keep this new and improved vegan diet on track.
