Walt Disney World is one of the most famous theme parks of the world. It’s no surprise that there are many families who dream of taking a trip to Disney each year. Luckily, we have created a Disney Travel Guide that will help you plan your trip without spending any extra money. Here are some great tips to help make your vacation fun and affordable:
Pick the right Disney Park. Depending on your family’s age, you may want to visit either of the two parks located in Orlando, Florida. The Magic Kingdom is a fantastic park where you’ll find Disney’s famous Cinderella castle and several rides. Epcot is another great park where you’ll be able to see all of the different rides from all of the different Disney films. If it’s a family trip you’re planning, make sure to take your kids to either one of these parks.
Plan a day-long vacation at a Disney resort. Disney’s Value Resort is the best place for families to stay because it has a very fun and relaxed atmosphere. This resort offers a variety of luxurious amenities and lavish areas for families to play. You’ll be able to find lots of fun activities to do like go on a scavenger hunt, take an adventure ride, or even a balloon flight. For nighttime adventures, head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here, you’ll get to see all the classic movies as well as enjoy a wide array of live shows.
Don’t forget to pack the essentials! A Disney travel guide will tell you that you need to bring plenty of disposable diapers and wipes to use while you’re at Disney. Other than that, you should bring plenty of water and a bag of your favorite snacks. In addition to that, you’ll also want to bring along some sunscreen and sunblock. Keep in mind that kids and pets are both prohibited at Disney.
Pack your family’s bags! Disney’s international airport is located in Atlanta, Georgia, so you’ll have to fly into Atlanta International Airport in order to come to Disney. In fact, the nearest hotel to Disney World is the Villagra Hotel. If you’re staying at the Villagra Hotel, make sure you book yourself a room in the lobby. It’s far too expensive to drive all the way over to Disney World to gamble and eat out at restaurants when you can simply walk!
Get Disney World ready ahead of time. If you don’t know anyone who lives in the area, you may want to make an extra stop at the Atlanta airport so you can find out if there’s a hotel close by that’s family friendly. Another great idea to make Disney World ready is to check with the travel website to find out when the Disney bus tours leave and what days they leave from the airport. This way you’ll be able to book your hotel and pre-arrange your transportation early–and to save money!
Buy Disney merchandise! You’ll find lots of things you can buy to show your kids once they get to Disney World. The most popular items include inflatables and figurines, hats and shirts, mugs, towels, hats and sunglasses, bags, and other products you can show your kids that will remind them of home while they’re away.
Disney World is the place for your kids to have the happiest Disney holiday. With four theme parks, two water parks, two hotels, and hundreds of restaurants, you’ll never have a dull moment. But make sure you plan in advance because it can be hectic trying to get tickets, get a room, or find food. So bring your family with you and be prepared to have a blast! Once you go, you won’t ever want to go back!
